Tempat perlindungan dok mekanikal digunakan untuk meterai antara bekas gudang dan trak. Ia diperbuat daripada tirai PVC dan rangka aluminium. Apabila trak menarik kembali ke meterai dok mekanikal, kain dan kerangka kerja akan dapat menarik balik ke belakang secara fleksibel. Tidak kira bekas lebih besar atau lebih kecil, langsir PVC boleh menutupnya dengan betul. Ia melampirkan bekas trak dan mencegah udara dan habuk luar memasuki gudang semasa kerja pemuatan dan pemunggahan.
